About The Real Life

Defining Real Life can’t be done with a broad stroke. It is composed of individuals, their struggles and successes. The Invacare Real Life is a forum to tell your stories and what it means to you or someone you know to live with a disability, an ailment or advancing age.

Please help Invacare raise awareness of how important access and independence are with snapshots of your life or the life of someone who has touched you. It is the seemingly simple acts of going to school, buying groceries and eating breakfast that can capture this. Inspiration can be a gold medal or a being able to take your dog for a walk, and that is the spark behind the Real Life.

There is so much to learn from each other.

Too often, those who use products like oxygen, wheelchairs and walkers aren’t able to obtain what they need to live their best life. The Invacare Real Life aims to change that by bringing these voices together.
