2008 Paralympics in Beijing, China
Invacare and Top End are proud to support athletes participating in the Paralympics in Beijing, China. A new dynamic website highlights racing, handcycling, tennis, and basketball athletes. Click on your favorite event to read athelte bios and check out some of their best photos. Some of the athletes have video files that are posted to the website - tune in to hear their stories about why they love sports, their favorite events, and more. Everyday
Top End High Performance Everyday Wheelchairs include the Crossfire Titanium, Crossfire T6, Terminator Titanium, Terminator Titanium - Heavy Duty, Terminator Everyday, and Terminator Jr. Each of our Top End chairs are designed from the ground up to be a true performance rigid wheelchair with "just where you need them" adjustments and options that make the chair fit you like a glove.
Handcycles
If recreation is your goal, the Excelerator and XLT are great models as they feature a low maintenance, 7-speed hub with reverse hands-on braking. We have the Li'l Excelerator and XLT Jr. for kids too. For racing, long distances, or hilly terrain, your best ride is the Top End Force, or XLT PRO.
Basketball
Now finding the right chair is a "slam dunk." The Paul Schulte Signature Series BB Chair is designed for elite players with a welded-to-perfection design in either titanium or aluminum. The X-Terminator BB / X-Terminator BB Titanium delivers the same great performance as the Schulte with a center-of-gravity adjustment while the Transformer All Sport is perfect for the new player with its unlimited adjustability.

Handcycle Test Centers
Do you want to buy a handcycle but don't know which to choose? See our handcycles and try them out for yourself before you buy. The best place to try a handcycle is at an Abilities Expo, organized handcycle event, or handcycle race. There are also organizations that have a fleet of handcycles available to try. These organizations include Adaptive Adventures, National Ability Center, Operation Comfort, and Achilles Track Club.
