Pressure Ulcers and Wound Management
The prevalence of pressure ulcer development is highest among the elder population and it is estimated that 70% of pressure ulcers occur in patients older than the age of 70. Group I or Static Mattresses
The Invacare® Solace® mattresses are designed to prevent and relieve pressure ulcers by redistributing weight as uniformly as possible and allowing blood to flow through capillaries prone to lesion development.
